Day Two - Creative Practice class - Mike Williams
We first had to do some loosening up exercises just scribbles to see if it makes something, not to try and draw anything specific. Then Drawing a UFO, then within a block, which helped us
think about composition, Next was drawing some spaceship fashion accessories , and lastly some Ufo typography, Mine was inspired by the lines on my sneakers.
- What did I learn = To think about composition firstly, not just the details of what I am drawing. Doodle more!
- Reflection = What worked - the loosening up exercises, sometimes hard to draw an idea out of thin air, and it also worked having the restrictions to draw a UFO, (direction) not just the freedom of drawing anything.
- What didn't work, my fashion accessories, seemed a bit pedestrian . ( lacking in vitality, imagination, distinction, etc.; commonplace; prosaic or dull)
